Hello, and welcome to my cozy little homepage. It's nothing fancy, just your basic personal homepage. I've got pictures of myself and of friends and family you can check out if you like. There is a guestbook, so please sign it before you leave, I like to be able to know who all comes and actually visits my page! Soon I want to put up songs and poetry that I write from time to time. But enough about my page, here's a little about me:
My name is James Allen Young, though I prefer Jay. Right now I'm a sophomore here at Ohio University, I live in Athens this year. Last year I attended Ohio University in Chillicothe, or as the kids there call it, "the Twig." I'm a computer science major, which I think is fun, if you dont think so, shove it. Yes I know.. I am a geek, though I will always try to deny it. I like to play guitar in my spare time, and write songs and poetry to keep me busy. I am hoping to start a band with my brother Garry and my cousin, although that project seems to be only a dream for the time being due to distances. In the mean time though, I guess this page is enough to keep me occupied. Hopefully that is more than enough info about me to make you wish you never came here, and if not... well I do not know what to tell you. Thanks for stopping by!
Well, a few updates about myself... I am beginning to really enjoy life down here in Athens, though friends still are on the shorter end. I guess maybe I should try to be more social, but that is hard for me! I am always afraid people will hate me. Um, for a while I went on a dry spell of writing songs and poetry, completely lacking of inspiration, although recently I had a major rush of ideas flow through my head and onto paper, so I am hoping to get those perfected and maybe up on this page before long. Guitar has been my best buddy too since I am living single and don't know enough people who tolerate me enough to do things with me when I'm bored!
